Two Maltese singers, Deborah C and Josef Tabone, recently took part in the Festival Internacional Da Concao Da  Serra Da Estrela, which was held in Portugal. Deborah and Josef sung two songs each and two songs as a duet. 

The festival consisted of 100 songs in four categories. The singers, who came from Romania, Portugal, Bulgaria, Croatia, China, Moldova, Russia, Lithuania. Malta, Switzerland, Poland, Armenia, Chile, Italia and Azerbaijan competed in four groups according to age.

The section that Deborah C and Josef participated in was the most popular and the singers sung 40 songs altogether. Malta placed fourth with one of the duets, Tonight.

The jury consisted of 17 members and the general secretary of WAFA Robert Cefai was one of the International Jury members.

The participation was possible through the WAFA.
