Early on Saturday morning Tiffany Pisani departed for Las Vegas to represent Malta in Miss Universe.

Tiffany won the right to represent Malta in Miss Universe, the biggest and most followed pageant in the world, last August when she was crowned Miss Universe Malta. The Miss Universe Malta event is organised by Glow Promotions under the direction of Alan J Darmanin and Jeff Francalanza. 

Tiffany will now compete against another 98 countries from around the globe. They will spend three weeks in Las Vegas doing various photo shoots, filmings, gala events, charity events, interviews and more. She will be able to promote Malta abroad. The Miss Universe finale will be held on 26th November from Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas and will be aired live on FOX. The Miss Universe finale has a viewership of over one billion people worldwide. For the third consecutive year the host will be Steve Harvey. Last year's winner, Iris Mittenaere from France, will crown her successor. The winner will have a one year contract with MUO and IMG in New York.
