A seven-year-old Nigerian girl was found dead at the Dominican residence in Zabbar, the Social Solidarity Ministry said this evening.

The girl resided at the home with her parents and siblings. She died on the night between Sunday and Monday.

The cause of death is yet to be established.

Magistrate Ian Farrugia is leading an inquiry while Agenzija Appogg is following the case closely, the ministry said.
