Nationalist Party leader Adrian Delia today met President Emeritus and former Nationalist Party leader Eddie Fenech Adami on his 84^th birthday.

Fenech Adami was party leader between 1977 and 2004, before becoming Malta’s President of the Republic.

Delia said that people of his generation have only one declaration to make to Fenech Adami: “Thank-you” for all that he did for the country.

The meeting was held at Fenech Adami’s home in Birkirkara, in the presence of his son Beppe, who for a time served as PN deputy leader.
