Maltese Trap shooter Brian Galea competed in The ISSF World Cup Guadalajara, Mexico 2018 this week where he competed amoung the top 58 trap shooters from around the globe. On his first day of qualifications on Monday, Brian managed 19/25 and 23/25 .
On his second day he improved his scores to 24/25, 25/25 and another 24/25 for a total of 115/125 (ISSF MQS). Brian was accompanied by his coach Frans Bugeja.
Sosa Lyndod from Luxumburg won The Gold medal with 122/125 +46
Buccolieri Emanuele from Italy won Silver with 121/125 +45
Tornoos Vesa from Finland won Bronze with 123/125 +32
Brian Galea will be joining the Maltese shooters, William Chetcuti, Nathan Lee Xuereb, Marlon Attard and Eleonor Bezzina that qualified for The Gold Coast Commonwealth Games.
