The Bank of Valletta winter league will start this evening and continues tomorrow with the opening three first round matches.

Six teams are taking part in the Premier Division while four clubs are contesting the first division.

The Premier Division is being played over one round, but the first division is to be held over two rounds.

San Giljan Tum Invest are the defending title holders and they are once again considered favourites to make a successful defence.

In today’s match, Neptunes Leo Vegas will be facing Valletta. Tomorrow, in the first of two matches, San Giljan will meet Exiles Jetfreight and that will be followed by the Sliema Frank Salt Real Estate v. Sirens Greentube match.

In the first division, Otters Nivea face Birzebbug Freeport today while in tomorrow’s match, Ta’ Xbiex Amigos face Marsaskala Transkripta.
