Luo Honghao on Saturday defeated Poland's Adam Stefanów 6-0 at the Dolmen Hotel in Bugibba to win the inaugural World Snooker Federation Championship in Malta.
The 18-year-old Chinese player was in a class of his own and, as the result indicates, he was in complete command right from the start.
He took a first session 4-0 lead in the morning and then won the opening two frames of the afternoon session to make sure of the title.
He takes home a first prize of €10,000 and earns a two-year ticket to the World Snooker Tour.
The four semi-finalists of the event will all be invited to compete at the 2018 World Snooker Championship in Sheffield, England, which this year carries a record first prize of £425,000.
