Team Marine Diffusion of France won yesterday's third and final race of the Voomquest V2 experimental championship 2018, to claim the first series held in Malta over the weekend.

In yesterday's third and final race Team Marine Diffusion piloted by Dominique Martini and Luc Martini obtained first place to gain another 400 points.

Team Lethiec (Yannick Lethiec and Claude Vaccari) collected 300 points with the second place and Malta's Team Cutting Edge (Steve Bezzina and Michael Abela), finished third to collect 225 points.

In the final placings after three races, Team Marine Diffusion finished in top spot with 1200 points, followed by Team Lethiec with 900 points, and Team Cutting Edge in third place with 450 points.

Belgium's Team Atomic and Grey finished fourth with 394 points and the other Maltese boat Team MG Powerboat Racing finished fifth with  127 points.
