Junior Gozitan Skeet shooter made his debut overseas with flying colours this week where he placed 7th place overall at The Junior ISSF World Cup Sydney Australia 2018.

Marlon managed 22,21,24, followed by a perfect straight of 25/25 and 23 for a total of 115/125, missing a place in the final stages for only one clay.

The Gold Medal was won by Dou Xuyang from China with 58/60 in the finals, being a World Junior Record in Skeet.

The Silver was won by Chiti Matteo from Italy with 52/60.

The Bronze was won by Sodi Niccolo also from Italy with 42/50.

Marlon Attard will soon be shooting again in Australia where he will be representing Malta together with William Chetcuti, Nathan Lee Xuereb, Brian Galea and Eleanor Bezzzina at The Commonwealth Games Gold Coast 2018.
