The Malta Basketball Association has decided to, with immediate effect, suspend the start of the MAPFRE MSV Life Women League play-offs, originally scheduled to commence on Thursday 12th April in the evening.

This suspension is coming into effect due to the fact that Depiro Basketball Club are contesting the Protest Board Decision taken on 20th March, regarding the game Caffe Moak Luxol vs Starlites, and thus the matter will now be put forth for arbitration proceedings in the coming days.

The 2018 Women League play-offs are then expected to tip-off following the outcome of the same arbitration proceedings.
