Watch: 3,100 indigenous trees planted on Comino

Some 3,100 indigenous trees were planted on Comino, while some 500 tonnes of waste were removed from various sites around the Maltese Islands, the Environment Ministry said.

Visiting Comino, Environment Minister Jose Herrera said the 3,100 trees were of eight species, and meant that a substantial part of Labour’s electoral pledge to plant a tree for every newborn had been maintained.
