I think it is high time Daphne Caruana Galizia be allowed to rest in peace. Her devastating death brought the nation to its knees... as well as arousing anger, shock, despair.

This mother was murdered on 16 October 2017 simply because she spoke the truth. Since then her name has been a constant reminder of how cruel these assassins are.

Yet now, for the sake of decency, for the protection of her good name and out of respect for her sons and other family members, let us stop calling her names on Facebook which only produces a depressing spectacle.

I wonder how we would feel if after our passing such tactics and such cruel words were used to invade our past and call us names left, right and centre.

Daphne was not a criminal. She was so many good things. Let us give her peace and some respect.
