Brazilian media outlet UOL has learned that Real Madrid have found an agreement to sign talented forward Rodrygo from Santos.

Los Blancos decided to swoop after the 17-year-old impressed to score 5 goals in 10 league performances last season.

Real Madrid have since had a €40 million proposal accepted, although the player and his agents had to relinquish the 20% of the transfer fee they were entitled to.

Despite signing a deal until 2025 with Los Blancos, Rodrygo will remain with Santos until June 2019 before he moves to Santiago Bernabeu.

Real Madrid have, therefore, snatched another one of the world’s hottest prospects after earlier agreeing a deal for Vinicius Junior.
