In his vlog MEP Francis Zammit Dimech speaks about an important achievement for Maltese creators and artists on which he has been working over the past months as MEP.

Through the new webpage www.youtube.com.mt launched by YouTube this week, Maltese content on YouTube will be more easily accessible and local artists and content of local creators will be given more prominence. Furthermore this is a step closer for local artists and creators to get paid for content they create. Zammit Dimech recalled how this initiative was also thanks to the a petition started by Creators Malta and Fabian Borg.

He thanked them for helping him with his work so as to serve as the voice of Maltese creators in Europe. Earlier this year Zammit Dimech also organised a training for Maltese YouTubers and promised that he will be looking into other opportunities to support Maltese content creators.
