The University of Malta's Department of Biology, Faculty of Science, is offering short evening courses in Biology, which are open to the public.

One such course is An Introduction to Marine Biology, which will be held between 31 October and 15 December. This covers topics such as General characteristics of the marine environment and the Mediterranean Sea; Shore and underwater habitats; Marine pollution; Fish, cetaceans and turtles; Aquaculture and fisheries and Marine conservation.

Lectures will be held on Wednesdays between 6 and 8pm, while two practical sessions will be held on Saturdays from 9am to 1pm.
