MARSA WITE STARS gave another impressive performance to win their third consecutive game and go top of the table together wth  DINGLI DESANA  who also gave an incredible show  GĦUof attacking football. Both teams seem determind to make it up to the end and win the major honour.

Marsa beat Valetta 10-4 where again their marvellous trio created chances that could not be missed. Ribic, Scerri and  Severino were too good going foward, and could not be stopped. Marsa had a good lead at half time 5-0. Valleta were not so bad. Inspired by the good play of Nikolai Filipov they lost too many chances or found goalkeeper Clinton Camilleri denying them.  After the break Valletta started well and got two early goals. However there was so much lose marking in their defense and this led to their down fall. To this Marsa reacted quickly and when they scored six consecutive goals, the game was over and finished for Valletta.

TAL-QROQQ GO TOP

TAL-QROQQ had never had such a good start in the league since started playing Masters football. After beating NAXXAR MASTERS 8-4 in their last game they ae now top in the table. Such players this season as Perkens, Bugeja and Leonardi strenghted the team. As a team they combine well together.  Naxxar were at the same level till half time and  it was only  three goals in the last ten minutes that made sure for Tal-Qroqq to get three important points.     JIVAL lost against TARGA GAP 5-9, their third consecutive defeat. Targa Gap returned to winning ways. The team showed improvement. And with more concentration and team work they could offer more resistance against any team.

MOSTA registered their second win defeating ZURRIEQ WOLVES 10-4. Their best players were without doubt  Cedric Scberrs and Stefan Aquilina combining well with four goals each . Zurrieq Wolves disappointed and could not reach the standard of play they showed recently to reach the final of the Pre Season T'ment.
