Rugby: Convincing win for Malta over Bosnia

Another splendid victory for Malta ended in a 41-7 drubbing of Bosnia Herzegovina yesterday at the Hibernians Stadium.

It was the second consecutive win in the Conference South 1 for Damien Neill's side after last week's victory (14-21) away to Israel.

The result was another positive outcome which helped the locals to maintain their three-year unbeaten record.

Malta took the lead on seven minutes through James Kirk from a penalty and from then on, they never loosened their hold on the game.Mark Davey, Kirk again, obtained more points for Malta who led 15-0 at the interval.

In the second half, Luke Watts, Thomas Holloway, Andre Galea were also on the scorers' list apart from Kirk who continued with his impressive performance, notching further points for Malta.Malta also got an extra point for scoring four tries.Referee: Lac Anthony (Monaco).
