Sometimes to win a game against a stronger team fans are willing to do anything, even to distract the opponent by any means.

Fans of the Rijnsburgse Boys in the Tweede Divisie match (third Dutch, semi-professional series) were to play against the league leaders AFC Amsterdam.

In the 20th minute of the first half the guests were preparing to beat a free kick, when the fans of the Rijnsburgse began to throw yellow and black tapes (the social colours of the home team) and simultaneously a blonde girl entered the field naked, carrying the team’s flag.

She approached the Amsterdam players to provoke them, but the referee suspended the game.

The idea to distract the opponents was unsuccessful because the AFC won 6-2.

The gesture was meant to create some distraction admitted a spokesperson for the HKR, or the Harde Kern Rijnsburgse Boys, a group of fans not new to particular gestures. "We started a couple of years ago with some games. With the strict rules of the federation it is difficult to use fireworks or smoke, so we thought about this kind of action to create a different atmosphere".
