Labour MEP Miriam Dalli harshly criticised Nationalist MP Jason Azzopardi for inventing false allegations about the Prime Minister.
In her vlog today, Dalli refers to a post uploaded on the social media by Azzopardi that the Prime Minister’s two children are attending school abroad. The post had been earlier uploaded by a group of supporters of slain journalist Daphne Caruana Galizia.
She also referred to a statement made by Azzopardi that the Prime Minister is pocketing €5,000 a day.
It is clear that some Opposition members have not learnt the lesson from the Egrant saga – a magisterial inquiry had not found any evidence of links between the company opened in Panama and the PM and his family, as had been alleged.
