A woman was seriously injured after being swallowed whole by a sinkhole that appeared on the pavement beneath her feet.
In a CCTV footage captured in Lanzhou City in Gansu Province, the pavement suddenly collapses as the woman is walking. She is seen disappearing into the hole.
The woman was later rescued and given hospital treatment for broken ribs.
