A construction worker has died after a fall on a building site in Qui-si-sana, Sliema.

The man, a 26-year-old Libyan who resided in Msida, fell a height of seven storeys, the police said

The man was married to a Maltese woman and they have a daughter.

The accident took place at around 11am.

Magistrate Francesco Depasquale is leading an inquiry.
