For the second consecutive year CareMalta has organised one big event to gather residents from all of its nine homes for the elderly to celebrate Christmas together as one family. Christmas time is a very special season for many and this is no exception at CareMalta as it is celebrated throughout the month of December. Each home organises their own Christmas events at the respective homes however CareMalta is now also bringing together residents from all the homes across Malta for this one big event.
Another long standing tradition at CareMalta is the personal delivery of a Christmas gift by Vassallo Group Chairman Nazzareno Vassallo to each and every resident in all the homes over a span of three days. The residents appreciate this yearly visit and will be eagerly waiting for this special day.
CareMalta currently cares for more than 1500 elderly persons residing in the nine homes across Malta, four of which are privately owned by CareMalta and five government homes operated by CareMalta.
CareMalta is celebrating its 25th anniversary and has also launched an ambitious service excellence training programme for all its employees called I Care, based on the three pillars of 'compassion', 'engagement' and 'professionalism'.
