Machinery at the Magħtab Environmental Complex caught fire earlier today, at around 2:30pm.

No one was hurt in the incident. The Civil Protection Department were called to assist in extinguishing the fire which was brought under control by 3:30pm.

Wasteserv said the machinery belonged to one of their contractors.
