In his vlog MEP Francis Zammit Dimech says that the festive season has shown the generosity of Maltese people and the challenges and realities faced by several Maltese prople. 

He said that the festive season is not only about traditions but also about helping others. He thanked all those involved in collecting a record sum for l-Istrina and expressed confidence that people will also donate for the Dar tal-Providenza on 1st January.

He recalled how Caritas organised a meal for over 500 persons facing financial problems. Moreover almost 60 families a week depend on the Food Bank in winter. He said that these are realities that confirm that policies are needed to address challenges faced by these people and families.
