Commotion erupted in the studios of Xarabank on Friday evening while the show was off-air for commercials.

Video of the footage which was sent to The Malta Independent shows empty seats with a number of other members of the audience following arguments that were taking place.

It is not known what led to the commotion, but presenter Peppi Azzopardi is overheard trying to calm things down while someone else announces that two minutes remain for the show to resume.

The show on Friday was divided into two parts, the first an interview with Nationalist Party leader Adrian Delia as the main guest and the second part a discussion on the situation within the PN.
