On Wednesday morning young driver Dylan Baldacchino together with the Malta Racing Club Chairman Edwin Borg left Malta in order to represent Malta in the European Amateurs Cup to be raced next Saturday at the Vincennes Racetrack in Paris.

25-year old Baldacchino became Champion Youth Driver for the first time in 2018 and whilst he has been racing for the past 8 years this will be his first international experience.
The Amateurs European Cup previously known as the Prix de Saint-Claude is an autostart race over 2100m in which 16 drivers will be participating coming from Sweden, France, Italy, Finland, Norway, Russia, Denmark, Germany, Belgium, Spain, Ireland, The Netherlands, Serbia, Estonia, Switzerland and Malta.

Dylan Baldacchino will not feel alone as for this very important weekend hundreds of Maltese racegoers are expected to be at the Vincennes Racetrack in order to be present for some of the best trotting races in the world including the mythical Prix d'Amerique on Sunday.

The race will be the 8th one of the programme with Dylan Baldacchino driving No. 5 Cornaline d'Orient.

In this race there is going to be also the Maltese owned horse Panoramic.
