Bezzina wins Air Pistol competition Edwin Vella Sunday, 27 January 2019, 18:22 Last update: about 8 years ago The Malta Air Rifle and Pistol Shooting Club held their nineth competition of the season in the 10m Air Pistol discipline, at the Larry Vella Hall indoor range in Bidnija. The shooters had to shoot 60 shots in 1hr 15 minutes in the qualifying round. The best shooters qualify for the final round, a shooter is eliminated after every 2 shots with the top two shooters shooting a maximum of 24 shots. Eleanor Bezzina was leading the qualifying round with a total score of 573 from a 600 points, followed by Stephen Vassallo with 536 points, Antoine Vassallo with 532 points, Raymond Cacciattolo 521 points and Josephine Galea Calleja 518 points. In the final round Eleanor kept strong to her lead and won the 9th competition of the season. Stephen Vassallo placed in second and Antoine Attard in third place.
