Brian Galea claimed the Grazio Vella & Bros. Trap Trophy at the Qormi Clay Shooting Club.

This Event was organised on two qualification rounds of twenty five clay targets each.

Galea was joined on the podium by Christopher Vella and by John Marmara who finished in the second and in the third place respectively.

After the qualification rounds, the six Finalists in the Bib number order were;

Brian Galea 49/50, John Marmara 46/50+2, Christopher Vella 46/50+1, George Mifsud 43/50, Anglu Ciappara 40/50+2 and George Cassar 40/50+1

A perfect straight of 25/25 hit targets was registered by Brian Galea in his first round.

The Finals results were

1^st Brian Galea 20/25 + 4/5 + 5/5 + 3/5 + 9/10, total score 41/50

2^nd Christopher Vella 21/25 + 4/5 + 4/5 + 4/5 + 6/10, total score 39/50

3^rd John Marmara 21/25 + 4/5 + 3/5 + 4/5, total score 32/40

4^th George Cassar 18/25 + 4/5 + 2/5, total score 24/35

5^th George Mifsud 17/25 + 4/5, total score 21/30

6^th Anglu Ciappara 11/25, total score 11/25

The top three Shooters in their respective classes concluded their qualification rounds with the following scores;

1^st Christopher Vella 46/50

The MSSF Shotgun Programme will continue on Saturday 02 and on Sunday 03 February 2019 at the Bidnija Shooting Ranges with the 2^nd Trap Selection Shoot of the year.
