50 Bank of Valletta Card merchants each won a €1,000 cash prize through a promotion held by Bank of Valletta in collaboration with Mastercard, throughout the month of December.

BOV merchants earned a stake in a lottery for every purchase transaction effected through a Mastercard card throughout the month of December, with 50 winners being drawn from all these stakes.

Complementing the cash prize, the winners were also invited to the bank's Head Office in Santa Venera to thank them for their loyalty while encouraging customers to use this convenient method of payment.

'When customers use credit or debit cards as a payment method, it creates a win-win situation for both the merchant and the cardholder', said Ivo Camilleri, Executive Head Electronic Banking Unit at Bank of Valletta to the lottery winners.
