The FISTF Grand Prix of France 2019 was organised last weekend in Issy-les-Moulineaux. Four Maltese players were present for this tournament and also one Maltese team.

The Individual Categories were held on Saturday.  In the Open Category

Derek Conti lost in the last 16 vs Antonio Mattivieri 1-0, Massimo Cremona lost in the quarter final vs Christophe Dheur 3-0, and Jurgen Balzan lost in last 32 vs Christophe Dheur 1-0.

In the Veteran Category Jason Pisani lost in the quarter final vs David Busch 1-0.

In the U19 Category Jurgen Balzan lost in the semifinal vs Theo Modeste with the sudden death 2-1. Theo Modeste won this Category.

On Sunday there was the team event.  Valletta Subbuteo Club were present with Derek Conti, Jurgen Balzan, Pascal Scheen and Axel Donval.  They had a good tournament, but unfortunately lost in the semi finals against the winning team SC Charleroi 3-0. Jason Pisani with his Italian team Master San Remo made it to the quarter finals.
