After hundreds of fish ended up on the road in Xemxija, it was the turn of some cows to make off in Santa Lucija as a storm continues to batter the Maltese Islands.
Footage uploaded on Facebook shows a number of cows running on the road and getting scared by approaching cars.
It is probable that the cows made their way beyond their normal pastures as rubble walls surrounding fields collapsed.
