MELITA still without Michael Galea who was the top scorer last season, got another three important points beating WARDIJA 8-4 in the MAPFRE/MSV LIFE MASTERS  PREMIER LEAGUE . They now move forward  to third place and still with a chance for the runner up position. They started badly an d suffered two early goals,  However, they managed to turn the score in their favour before the break with five consecutive goals, two by Brian Said. In the secomd half, Melita continued where they left. Increased the score  to 7-2 and  although Wardija managed to close the gap to 4-7, Melita soon reacted ycored again and kept ontrol till the end.

MARSA WHITE STARS beat VALLETTA 8-4 To keep chasing Dingli Desana.  Marsa had a  good lead by the end of the first half 5-2.  Valletta improved from their last outing, but still they could not hold the star player Alexander Ribic  who scored four and being always dangerous.  He  could have got more goals if he was not denied by Valletta's goalkeeper Gilbert Spiteri who was making his debut with the team. After the break, a  built up  led of 8-2 and it was in the last minutes that VALLETA twuce reduced the margin for a more respectable score of 8-4

In the CISK MASTERS DIV.1 LEAGUE, ZURRIEQ WOLVES and TARGA GAP played an  entertaining game  in a draw 4-4. Both teams went all out to gain  the three points.   The game was balanced from the  start and played in the best of spirit.  Zurrieq Wolves need the points to be able to lan finish as runners up and gain promotion.   Mario Camilleri, Stephen Sadowski, Chris Bezzina and Kevin Vella scored for Żurrieq Wolves, while for Targa Gap Kurt Coleiro scored twice and was         chosen the man of the match. The othe two goladowskia scoring their faour goals , but the man of the match was  Kurt Coleiro of Targa Gap who scored tsice with captain Adrian Gatt getting thr other two,
