A man died after a fall at a construction site in St Julian’s on Monday afternoon.

The police said that the man is of Italian nationality and resides in St Julian's. He is around 40 years old.

The accident occurred at a construction site in Triq Francis Zammit, with emergency services responding to the call at around 3pm.

An ambulance was called to assist the man who was however certified dead on site.

Magistrate Rachel Montebello is conducting an inquiry.
