During the joint Congress of the 32 Congress of UEC, Union Européenne de Cyclisme, and 8 CAC Congress, Confédération Africaine de Cyclisme held recently in Rome, the Malta Cycling Federation officials, John Zammit and Joe Bajada, President and Secretary General respectively, had a very cordial talks with the Presidents of the respective Federations of Tunisia and Libya, Naoufel Merchaoui and Dr. Noureddin Ahmed Altarek.

They discussed future collaboration between the three Federations which among others mentioned the participation of the Maltese national teams in both the two African nations Tours.
