Approaching the end of the season all remaining games should attract a certain interest. From the MAPFRE/MSV Life MASTERS PREMIER LEAGUE, MELITA and WARDIJA both with their best possible formation, played attractive football. The end result of 4-4 did not satisfy much for Wardija who are trying not to be relegated. As for Dingli, they remained unbeaten and still five points clear from the second team. Winning their next game they will mathematically be declared champions. For Melita, Michael Gales had an excellent return after a long injury, scoring a hat-trick. The other goal was by Edw. Frendo Jones. Melita finished infront 3-1, going for the break. In the second half Wardija played much better, and managed to get level 3-3. Melita got infront again 4-3 but in the last minutes Wardija scored to get a deserved draw.
In the other game, the progress made by VALLETTA in the last weeks, was shown in their last games and were unlucky to lose most games with one goal margin evenagainst such team as Marsa and Dingli. In their last gme aganst DINGLI tilfu 8-7 but they deserved better. With this win Dingli not only remained unbeaten but also if they win their next game they will be magheatiasllhy delared champions. Nikolai Filipov had a very good performance, scoring no less than five . Valletta played well in the first half and finished 3-3. However in the second half Dingli were a little better and nearing the end th dering the endthe weee ahead 8-5, ut Valletta kept doing their best anf mnaged toscore two kn heas six minutes.
