Luxol had the second win out of five Elite Play Offs Final, as they won again against Valletta, this time for 5-2.
In the middle of the first half Brazilian Leanderson Sant' Anna Coriolano scored the opening goal for Luxol. Later in the first half Valletta's Andre Ciancio had an unfortunate own goal putting Luxol two goals in advantage before the half time.
In the opening minutes of the second half Luxol added the third goal through Marwan Telisi. Around six minutes later it was time for captain Mark Zammit to put his name in the score sheet and scoring the fourth goal. This goal furiated the Valletta supporters with one of them entering the court but it was imediately taken away by the Police. In a short period of time the Police Officers calmed the situation at the stand and the match resumed. Luxol continued to impress and added the fifth goal through Nicola Del Re.
With five goals disadvantage Valletta's coach Xavier Saliba took the risk and pushed everything forward by introducing Dylan Musu as the flying keeper. This risky move went successful as Valletta reduced the gap by scoring two goals through Shawn Vella and Andre Ciancio.
Next Friday at 20:15 at the Corradino Sport Pavillion, the third play off final will be held. In the eventuality that Luxol wins the third consecutive match they will be crowned Elite Champions and there'll be no need to play the last two matches.
