Shooting: William Chetcuti achieves 121/125 at the ISSF World Cup Al Ain UAE 2019

Maltese Trap Shooter William Chetcuti achieved a World Class score of 121/125 today at The ISSF World Cup AL AIN UAE 2019, today where he managed two perfect straights of 25/25, 23/25, 24/25 and another 24/25 for a total of 121/125.

He missed a place in the qualifications for the final stages for a chance of an Olympic quota place with only one target.

He is proving to be an all rounder, where he is just adopting to trap shooting from double trap.

Brian Galea that is also competing in The Trap event managed 22,24,22,23 and 24 for a total of 115/125, Nicky Carabott managed 23,21,20,22,and 23 for a total of 109/125.

Mickaela Galea who competed in the Trap ladies event managed 20,22,22,19 and 18 for a total of 101/125.

The Gold Medal in The Trap event was won by Glasnovic Josip from Croatia with 47/50 + shoot off +9, the Silver Medal was won by Stesthaporn Savate from Thailand with 47/50 + Shoot off + 8 and the Bronze Medal was won by Pigrosch Paul from Germany with 34/40.
