Authorities say they've found the body of a Brazilian model whose boat was caught in a windstorm off Sao Paulo.
The local fire department says Caroline Bittencourt was found ashore Monday, a day after she had disappeared.
Bittencourt and her husband, Jorge Sestini, were sailing Sunday when the wind picked up and the model fell in the water.
Sestini says he jumped after her but did not manage to save her.
He was rescued hours later by a navy officer. The couple's catamaran was found capsized a few miles away.
Initial reports suggested that the Sao Paulo-born model had jumped in to save her fallen puppies — claims her family strongly denied.
