A man died of serious injuries inflicted by his neighbour’s dog, Italian media report.
Giampaolo Rebella, 55, was viciously attacked by the dog as he was returning to his home in Savona.
The man underwent two major operations but succumbed to the injuries two days after the attack.
Italian media report that the dog bit the man in the face and head, damaging the eyes and brain.
