In the beach Volley competition, mixed fortunes yesterday with the ladies team obtaining the second successive victory winning against Montenegro, but the men’s team suffered another setback losing against Monaco.

The ladies team obtained another victory, a victory that might prove to be to no avail to put the girls on the podium, since they now need to beat Cyprus in the final match, a rather difficult task as Cyprus have already won their four matches so far.

Yesterday Melissa Sue Cheviron and Dominika Dworniczak defeated Kataryina Cacic and Ivana Miljanic 21-15, 21-12.

The men’s team with Robert Balzan and Manuel Raffa lost to Alexandre Bitan and Pascal Perry of Monaco 17-21, 17-21.
