Daniel Bajada’s first match was against Magnus Gauti Ulfarsson of Iceland, winning 3-0, 11-7, 11-9, 11-9, lost against Monaco’s Anthony Geminiani 8-11, 6-11, 9-11, and then he went on to beat san Marino’s Federico Girardi 11-7, 11-3, 11-6 to move to the quarter finals.

However in the quarter final he lost against Monaco’s Anthony Peretti 6-11, 5-11, 4-11.

Gabriel Grixti started against Luxembourg’s Giles Michely and lost 9-11, 8-11, 11-7, 3-11. Grixti then lost against Felip Radovic of Montenegro 5-11, 3-11, 11-8, 3-11 and was eliminated.

In the women’s singles Viktoria Lucenkova started against Luxembourg’s and lost 8-11, 7-11, 11-6, 13-11, 2-11, but then recovered against Konstantina Meletie of Cyprus winning 13-11, 11-6, 11-7. Lucenkova finished against San Marino’s Chiara Morri winning 11-6, 11-4, 3-11, 11-2 to qualify for the quarter finals.

In the last eight match Lucenkova lost against Monaco’s XiaoxinYang 11-9, 2-11, 6-11, 3-11

Sascha Genovese started with a win against Iceland’s Aldis Larusdottir 4-11, 11-4, 11-13, 11-9, 11-8, but then lost against Montenegro’s Smezana Culafic 7-11, 4-11, 3-11. Genovese lost again against Louiza Kourea of Cyprus 4-10, 10-12, 5-11, and was eliminated.
