The men’s and women’s Beach Volley teams lost their last round matches yesterday with the girl’s team finishing in fourth place and the men’s team finishing in sixth.

Melissa Sue Cheviron and Dominika Dworniczak were defeated by the pair from Cyprus Mariota Angelopolou and Zoi Konstantopoulou 14-21, 14-21.

The men’s team also suffered defeat in their last match for fifth and sixth place against Liechtenstein. Robert Balzan and Manuel Raffa were outclassed by Manuel Herbert Gahr and Musulin Von Deichmann losing 14-21, 12-21.
