Liam Sciberras was the overall winner of the EZ Creations Skeet Mini Grand Prix, an Event that was organised at the Bidnija Shooting Ranges on three qualification rounds of twenty five clay targets followed by the Finals Stages.
This was the second overall win for the junior Athlete, with the first win being back in November of last year.
Sciberras was joined on the podium by Marcello Attard who finished in the second place and by Clive Farrugia who had to settle for third place overall.
The six Finalists in the Bib number order according to their qualification scores were;
Clive Farrugia with the score of 69/75, Jason Sciberras hit 68/75, Edwin Zammit 67/75, Liam Sciberras 65/75+2, Noel Scicluna 65/75+1 and Marcello Attard 64/75.
The official overall results were;
1st Liam Sciberras 18/20 + 7/10 + 8/10 + 9/10 + 9/10, total score 51/60
2nd Marcello Attard 16/20 + 9/10 + 10/40 + 9/10 + 6/10, total score 50/60
3rd Clive Farrugia 18/20 + 7/10 + 8/10 + 8/10, total score 41/50
4th Jason Sciberras 13/20 + 8/10 + 9/10, total score 30/40
5th Edwin Zammit 11/20 + 4/10, total score 15/30
6th Noel Scicluna 11/20, total score 11/20
The top Shooters in their respective classes concluded their qualification rounds with the following scores;
Class A
1st Clive Farrugia 69/75
2nd Jason Sciberras 68/75
3rd Marcello Attard 64/75
Class B
1st Edwin Zammit 67/75
2nd Liam Sciberras 65/75 (Countback Rule)
3rd Noel Scicluna 65/50
In the meantime, another MSSF junior Athlete, Marlon Attard was competing at the 15th International Skeet Grand Prix for juniors in Porpetto Italy, where he finished in the 25th place overall with the score of 114/125.
