Cory Greenland to contest for Vice-President of the MFA

Tuesday, 2 July 2019, 14:51 Last update: about 7 years ago

"After the encouraging result of the January 2017 casual election for the post Vice President of the Malta Football Association (MFA) and a process of feedback collection with local Clubs and Member Associations in the past month, I have decided to contest for one of the posts of Vice President of the MFA".

The main theme of the campaign is "accessibility"; whereby as a Vice President of the MFA Doctor Greenland is pledging to work hard to the help make the MFA more accessible and closer to the various levels of the local football Governance. This would be achieved by improving communication, presence, and contact with the local clubs and associations forming part of the football family. Such efforts would undoubtedly be conducted whilst also ensuring support for the implementation of the vision and programme of the new Presidency to be elected at the 20th July Annual General Meeting.

"I believe this is the right time to contribute to the future of the MFA and hope that I can be part of the new administration of the MFA that will lead our football community forward in the years to come. The Vice President election is expected to be a competitive contest, and yet one that is expected to be based on mutual respect between all candidates. In the end we are all proud members of the local football family".
