Breakwater Bar are the new Premier Div Champions after beating San Gwann Bocci

As expected this was a very close final but no one expected that will end with two sets of penalty shoot-outs to be the most exiting final in the history of the Malta Eight Ball Federation. San Gwann Bocci took the first frame of the game but Breakwater Bar manage to win the next three frames to finish the first session 3-2 in front. As in second session Breakwater kept solid in their game by winning three frames from five to finish the second session 6-4 in front. In session 3 again Breakwater Bar managed to win the third consecutive session with the same score of 3-2 to go in front 9-6. In the fourth and last session, San Gwann Bocci took the first frame but Breakwater Bar took the second frame to go just one frame from the title but San Gwann made a good come back by winning frame 3 and 4 with two breaks and dishes to make the score 10-9 for Breakwater Bar. In the last frame of the game we could see the pressure on both players by missing a chance each to clear the table, which ended on San Gwann Bocci's side to win the session 4-1, thus forcing the penalty shoot-out with the score of 10-10. The first set of penalties 5 for each team - it was equal till the last penalty with San Gwann Bocci 3-2 in front and the chance to win the title, but a mistake by San Gwann Bocci with Breakwater Bar took the advantage and marked the last penalty to tie the score 3-3 and forcing the second set of penalty shoot-out. The second set of penalties 5 for each team but with the cue ball in the middle of the baulk line. Again it was very equal till the last penalty with the score of 5-5. Breakwater Bar kept calm and score the last penalty to win the title for the excitement and joy of their supporters

As expected this was a very close score 1st Div Final with both teams equal each other till the end of the 3rd session with Juventus leading with the score of 8-7, but in the
last session Juventus Kept control of the game by winning 3 frames to be incoronated 2019 1st Div Champions with the score of 11-8
