EXILES ELIA CATERERS......... 10

NEPTUNES LEO VEGAS........ 15

(2-5), (3-4), (3-3), (2-3)

Neptunes Leo Vegas showed their worth as they defeated Exiles Elia Caterers 15-10. They deserved the win and didn't look in danger of losing the game. Jordan Camilleri finished the best scorer of the game with four goals after Darko Brguljan and Stevie Camilleri scored three goals each.

Neptunes had a 3-1 advantage after the first three minutes, a clear indication that they were determined to have a positive start. Kurt Griscti pulled one back but Stevie and Jordan Camilleri scored to put his team 5-2 ahead at the end of the first session.

Jovan Popovic's side got the break they needed in the middle of the session, scoring four goals from a brace by Darko Brguljan and a goal each by Stevie Camilleri and Petar Muslim. Exiles didn't give up that easily and scored twice in the last minute and a half to reduce the gap to 9-5.

A similiar situation happened in the third session. Neptunes stretched their lead to 11-5 but in the last two minutes of the session, Exiles scored three consecutive goals to enter back into the game.

But their hopes faded as youngster Jake Muscat scored right at the end of the session while Jordan Camilleri scored in the first action of the last session. Exiles reduced the gap to four goals twice but then again Neptunes responded immediately to keep their comfortable advantage till the end.
