A new video showing how the Morandi bridge in Genoa collapsed last August, killing 43, has been published by the Guardia di Finanza.
The video was shot by security cameras of a company which had its premises close to the bridge. According to Italia media, it is considered fundamental to explain how the ninth column of the structure collapsed, bringing down a sizeable section of the bridge.
The whole bridge was last week imploded to make way for a new structure.
The footage released this week shows a 14-second gap between the collapse of the upper part of the ninth column and the fall of the last stone.
