Birkirkara FC has continued strengthening their ranks with the signing of a Brazilian defender.

He iswho signed a two-year contract with the club. Jeferson will be the second new addition who will be debuting in the BOV Premier League, following the signing of Renatinho last month.

The 24-year-old towering defender is a centre-back and this will be his first experience outside his country. He was playing last for Nacional Atletico Club SP.

The Stripes had earlier signed Enrico Pepe, Roderick Briffa, Miguel Angel Alba, Isaac Ntow, goalkeeper Nicky Vella, Renato Goncalves de Lima and Yannick Yankam.They also extended deals with Michael Mifsud, Luke Montebello and Matthew Guillaumier.
