Maltese athlete Rachela Pace, this morning competed in the Long Jump heats and gave a solid performance to jump 5.61 and thus qualified for the long jump final which is scheduled for Thursday at 7pm local time. 

Meanwhile yesterday morning Swimmer Sasha Gatt took part in the 100m freestyle competition, clocking a time of 1.02.39. Gatt placed seventh in her heat and forty second in a field of forty seven athletes.
