The ISSF Junior World Cup in Rifle, Pistol and Shotgun recently took place at the Suhl-Friedberg Shooting Center in Suhl, Germany.

Many sportsmen and guests say that with its modern facilities this shooting range is one of the most attractive facilities in the world.

Six hundred and fifty juniors from all five continents were registered to participate in the 25th Anniversary World Cup, with the fifteen Olympic disciplines being the focus of the competitions.

Representing Malta in the Shotgun Events we had GALEA Mikaela in the Trap Women Junior Event and ATTARD Marlon in the Skeet Men Junior Event.

GALEA finished her competition with the score of 94/125 while ATTARD managed 114/125, three targets short from a potential Shoot-Off for the Final Stages.

The Trap Women Junior Event was won by PENDERGRASS Faith Alexa (USA), ALI Selin (BUL) the overall winner of the Trap Women Juniors Event at last week's ISSF World Championship had to settle for second place while RAGAZZINI Gaia (ITA) finished in third place overall.

Conner Lynn PRINCE (USA) won the Gold Medal in the Skeet Men Junior Event, WU Liangliang (CHN) won Silver and sixteen year old HARRISON Oliver George (GBR) was on cloud 9 when he clinched the Bronze Medal in his second attempt at an ISSF Competition.
